Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN announced those responsible for Kiev’s violation of the Ottawa Convention 20:21

Gennady Gatilov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN in Geneva, said that the USA, France and Germany are responsible for Kiev’s violation of the Ottawa Convention (convention banning anti-personnel mines – socialbites.ca). This was reported by RIA News.

According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) use not only Soviet mines of the PFM-1 “Lepestok” type, but also mines of American, French and German production.

“Therefore, its Western patrons and sponsors also bear joint responsibility for Kiev’s crimes,” Russia’s permanent representative to the UN said.

Before that Gatilov statedThat the pro-Ukrainian attitude of the leadership of this World Organization at the beginning of the special military operation (SVO) of the Russian Federation prevented it from quickly condemning the violations in Kiev.

According to him, in such a situation, it was, to put it mildly, unprofitable for the UN structures to condemn the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrainian nationalist formations for the crimes they committed.

Previously USA and Ukraine started Negotiations on security guarantees for Kiev.
