Zelensky signed new decrees on sanctions against Russians

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed two decrees putting into effect the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) on new sanctions against citizens of the Russian Federation. They are published on the Presidency’s website.

Attached to the decrees are three lists containing 108 individuals and 37 companies. Among them were the head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik, the president of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Nikolai Azarov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev.

Sanctions were imposed for periods of five and ten years.
