A court in the US state of Colorado found that former US President Donald Trump was involved in the Capitol raid in Washington in January 2021. This was reported by Associated press (AP).

Judge Sarah B. Wallace admitted that the former president “incited insurrection” in 2021 through his actions and public statements, according to the publication.
Trump campaign spokesman Stephen Chung said he completely disagreed with the Colorado court’s decision. He denied the former American leader’s involvement in the storming of the Capitol and expressed the opinion that representatives of the Democratic Party were trying to implement “cynical attempts to interfere in the upcoming elections.”
In the summer of 2023, Donald Trump was charged with attempting to storm the Capitol in January 2021, 2020 election violations, and illegal possession of documents. In each case, the politician denies wrongdoing and calls the investigations political persecution by current President Joe Biden’s administration.
