Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal said that the country could get a loan of $1.1 billion from the World Bank for social payments. This was reported by TASS.
“Ukraine continues to withdraw money from partners. Almost $1.1 billion in loans from the World Bank. We will use them for social payments, education, medicine and other priority needs,” Shmygal said.
Formerly Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine statedIt signed an agreement with the World Bank to provide grant aid worth $700 million to revitalize agriculture. The money is also planned to be sent to small agricultural producers specializing in raising cows, sheep and goats. The project is planned to be implemented this year and in 2024.
