The US Senate has passed a plan to continue funding the work of the country’s federal government without aid to Israel and Ukraine. The meeting was reportedly broadcast by American news television companies TASS.
The relevant plan was approved by the House of Representatives on November 14.
The bill must be signed by US President Joe Biden. The initiative means money will continue to be allocated to various government programs and departments, including those dealing with agriculture, energy, military construction, transportation and housing, until January 19, 2024.
It is also proposed to extend funding for the work of other departments and programs until February 2 next year. The document does not envisage the allocation of funds to Ukraine and Israel.
