President Andrzej Duda’s speech contained very important words that provoked an outrageous response from the opposition currently seeking to take power.
I take my word very seriously and will certainly stick to it. Ladies and gentlemen, I will not support any attempt to limit, undermine or question the constitutional powers of the President

After these words, Civic Coalition MPs started shouting and laughing loudly. When President Duda emphasized that “the constitutional order must be preserved,” one lawmaker shouted, “Restored.”
““I will not hesitate to use the presidential veto.”
If I notice that a solution raises serious substantive or legal doubts, I will not hesitate to use the presidential veto or submit the bill to the Constitutional Court.
