Tomasz Lis tried to attack Jarosław Kaczyński. However, the journalist did not check the information, on which he decisively commented. This was explained to him by Radosław Fogiel from PiS.
Lis referred to the information from the Polish Press Agency, which reported:
The PiS president believes that there should be an institution of the head of the opposition, which in his opinion would have certain rights or even privileges
– we are reading.
Referring to this information, Lis attacked President Kaczyński:
Be careful, Kaczyński will get himself protection, privileges and a touch of prestige. Understandable, but without an ounce of honor. Should we support my grandfather until he dies? He already has a very high pension. Enough
– writes the former editor-in-chief of ‘Newsweek’.
Fogel’s entry
The problem is that the information Lis refers to is from… 2016. Radosław Fogiel disclosed this to the journalist.
Note: I was looking for an entry from seven years ago to show off my lack of culture (let’s call it euphemistic). Alternatively – I’m so clueless I didn’t realize it – call me ‘journalistic aristocracy’
– we read in the PiS politician’s entry.
