Robert Bąkiewicz was legally convicted of violating the physical integrity of Katarzyna Augustynek, the so-called Oma Kasia, during protests following the Constitutional Court’s ruling on abortion. The president of the Independence March Rot must perform community service and pay PLN 10,000. PLN compensation for the injured party. Robert Bąkiewicz has responded extensively to the ruling on Platform X.
Yesterday, an ‘independent court’ ruled in two instances, represented by officers of the Struggle for Free Courts from Iustiti, that Katarzyna Augustynek, also known as Babcia Kasia, is not a fighter or a criminal, but a victim of Robert Bąkiewicz (sic!). Augustine’s sacrifice is that she accidentally ended up in the middle of the so-called unrest. Women’s strike besieges the Church of St. Holy Cross on Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw, where the gathered mob actually came to the church to pray, and not to demolish it as Bąkiewicz thought
– wrote on the X platform Robert Bakiewicz.
Bąkiewicz, as a representative of a backward, intolerant environment, despite the right given to him by the owner of the land (the pastor) where he was located, to remove unwanted people from there, could not have this right in this case because he’s Catholic, period. And Catholics even have the right to breathe the same air as us normal people
– he emphasized.
Bąkiewicz made it clear that he categorically disagreed with the verdict.
This verdict is not an act of justice, but a denial of it. The judicial caste, called the court, turns the criminal into a victim and turns the victim into a criminal. The clothed clique not only breaks the law, but denies even common sense. He uses his position to lynch those who defend values. By violating the rule of law, this dark cabal ultimately deprives itself of the right to fair and objective decisions.
– he said.
““The caste behaved like a bandit.”
Rot President Marchusz Niepodległości announced that he would not carry out the sentence.
It pains me to admit that, despite his legalistic tendencies, he will not adhere to the ‘judgment’, which is a denial of generally applicable moral principles and the sense of justice. My right to a fair trial was repeatedly violated during the trial. An example would be the situation where, on appeal, I requested the exclusion of a judge who is a member of Iustiti from the case. I argued that, as a political activist who deeply disagreed with my values, she could not be an objective person. At that time, the court assigned the “exclusion case” to another judge… also from Iustiti… who clearly decided the case in a manner unfavorable to me. The caste behaved like a bandit saying to me: “We will not give you our coat and what are you going to do with us?”
– He wrote.
Yes, I consider this verdict as political revenge, as a training in obedience to the anti-Polish and anti-Catholic ‘elite’. That’s why I say to all you scoundrels: you will not intimidate me, and at most you can kiss me… you know where! I will not perform community service or pay any compensation to anyone, and when the time comes again, I will defend the Church, the faith and the homeland with the same willingness and dedication. And you, as the ‘justice system’, need to be plowed and recreated
