Good news! CBA receives international recognition. The CBA project received the EPAC/EACN AWARD 2023 for the most innovative and successful project in the field of combating corruption in 2023 – wrote Stanisław Żaryn, Deputy Minister of Coordinator of the Secret Services on the X platform (formerly Twitter ).
The ABCIntegrity project was selected as the best out of nine submitted initiatives. It was recognized as the most innovative anti-corruption project in 2023 and received an award from the European Partners Against Corruption/European Anti-Corruption Network (EPAC/EACN).
The project initiated by the CBA is being implemented with the participation of Polish universities as part of signed letters of intent. It presupposes a broad and multi-phased promotion of the idea of fairness.
The CBA said the winning project is based on three foundations related to different stages of human development: promoting the idea of honesty and ethics among the youngest, cooperation with the scientific community and organizing anti-corruption events for final year students who have just started their professional career and provide specialized training for public sector employees and representatives of commercial law companies in which the Ministry of Finance participates.
European Partners Against Corruption / European Contact Points Network against Corruption (EPAC/EACN) is a platform that brings together anti-corruption institutions from the Member States of the European Union. The main goal of the international initiative is to combat corruption and build and maintain interrelationships in the field of cooperation between theorists and practitioners in the field of combating corruption in public administration, as well as institutions that monitor the work of law enforcement agencies.
The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau was admitted to the international organization EPAC in 2007.
