The coalition agreement is almost ready, it has several dozen points and an “average overall level,” Paulina Hennig-Kloska, deputy head of Poland 2050, said on Radio Zet. If the first force takes responsibility for the government, the second must take responsibility for the Sejm, she said, speaking about the marshal’s position.
The coalition agreement is almost ready, we are certainly close to the end of the talks
– she said, explaining that she still needed approval from the leaders.
There is always something to add, something to agree on. These arrangements will essentially last four years
– she added.
Coalition agreement
When asked what was in the coalition agreement, Hennig-Kloska said there were several dozen very important points, “all those that made the political groups the most important going into the elections.” There are, as she said, main directions and issues regarding, among others: Poland’s international position and defense.
The coalition agreement will not consist of legal acts to be adopted. Overall this will be an average level. (…) The idea is not to collect the most important legal acts, (…) but to show the society that voted for the change that the first most important agreement has actually been reached and that there is a coalition agreement. And secondly, Andrzej Duda needs to stop hamletizing
– said Hennig-Kloska.
She stated that she could not provide details of the contract. The date of the presentation, as she added, is a decision of the leaders.
I cannot imagine not signing the agreement before November 13, for the fundamental reason that it is a clear signal to President Duda that the majority, today the opposition, has elected its Marshal and has a majority in the Sejm and a signed a document on cooperation and collaboration. forming a government.
– she said.
There seems to be a possibility that the world will see a coalition agreement as early as next week
– she added.
Rotating speaker of the Sejm
When Hennig-Kloska was asked on Radio Zet about the concept of a rotating chairman of the Sejm, she said she was not “deeply in favor” of such a solution. She believed that Szymon Hołownia was the best candidate for chairman of the Sejm.
In my opinion, if the first power takes responsibility for the government, the second power with the greatest social mandate should take responsibility for the Sejm, because there too needs to be cleaned up.
– she said.
I imagine that if the rotation mechanism were to be introduced, it would have to be systemic and apply to a larger group of positions, and not just to the Chairman of the Sejm.
– she added, mentioning, among others: deputy prime ministers, deputy marshals.
If we borrow this system from the European model, it looks exactly like this: it is a deeper change halfway through the term
– she pointed.
She emphasized that the marshal’s mission from November 13 “will be extremely important.”
Go back on promises?
The Vice President of Poland 2050 was asked on Radio ZET which program demands of the opposition parties planning to form a government will not be implemented. Beata Lubecka suggested that it would be a 35-hour working week and a tax-free allowance of up to PLN 60,000. zloty.
Hennig-Kloska stated that next year’s budget will be very tight and it will not be possible to implement all the opposition’s program proposals.
We would then have to look for some very large expenses. They could, I think, replace the indexation of more than 500, but if such a decision does not come or if we fail to take it, I see no room in the budget to implement it today.
– she said.
The whole coming year will be exciting
– she added.
Leaving aside the absurdity of the concept of rotation in the position of Chairman of the Sejm, it must be stated that the proposal of interchangeability in other positions – in the opinion of the opposition – should not be meaningless. After all, if the Second Person in the state can change every year or two to meet all the desires of the coalition, it is even more possible to carry out such an action, for example, in ministries. However, the Platform does not agree to this.
