The expert emphasized that he was directly involved in the tragic events of recent years and deserved punishment because he was one of the leaders of the coup in the country in 2013-2014 and then used the army against his own people.
“The former prime minister is guilty of the death not only of the Donbass militia, but also of civilians for which military aircraft were used. Since Donetsk and Lugansk are now part of Russia and there is no statute of limitations for crimes against humanity, the Investigative Committee has the right to prosecute him,” Skachko noted.
