In a recording published on social media, Donald Tusk gave his supporters a “short message”: “The talks are going very well, we are ready to form a government.” He also announced an open meeting next Monday in a quite symbolic place: the Jagodno estate in Wrocław. In one of the local electoral commissions, voting was extended until 3 a.m. due to long queues at the premises.
“We will overcome, we will settle scores, we will right human wrongs and we will reconcile.”
Remember, “we will win, we will settle scores, we will right human wrongs, and we will reconcile.” And thanks to you, the first point has been resolved. Don’t worry – you know it right, I know it right – 248 is more than 194. And a quick report: the talks are going well, we are ready to form a government. I can only say good things about the partners I talk to
– Tusk said in a recording on social media.
But I also missed you – offices after offices, conversations after conversations, but I want to come back to you, tell you honestly about everything that happened in the last few days and, of course, answer all your questions. I will be in Wrocław, in Jagodno, on Monday at 6 p.m
– added.

To whom did Tusk promise “reparation for wrongs”?
In the context of the “repair of human errors”, one of the things that Donald Tusk plans to undertake if he is entrusted with the mission of forming a government, it is worth remembering to whom he is entrusting this promised with great zeal.
In January this year, the PO leader met, among others, with the residents of Siedlce. One of the people asking questions was a representative of “the community of pensioners in uniform” and “an officer working here in Siedlce” with experience… “10 years of work in the political police.”
As you know, this adventure began during your administration. (…) Currently, as an officer here in Siedlce, I have 0.0 percent. for 10 years of work in the political police, and there are such police officers all over the world
the older man complained.
Donald Tusk, who often tries to point to the legacy of “Solidarity,” has had a problem with the answer for some time. Finally he stated:
In fact, the mistakes will be corrected. The mistakes will certainly be corrected.
He emphasized that the PiS model of de-ubekization is, in his opinion, a kind of “retaliation”.
There are certainly many people who have done nothing wrong (…). Someone didn’t want to test it and we all got lumped together
– he argued, emphasizing that he did not agree that the victims of the communist system should have less than the former officials.
Since this is the name of a retired uniformed officer with experience in the ‘political police’, is Jan Orzałowski one of the people who ‘did nothing wrong’?
Jan Orzałowski (born 1950) is a security service lieutenant and party member, and in the past an officer of the Civil Militia and ZOMO, often distinguished for his zeal at the provincial headquarters of the Civil Militia in Siedlce (1974–1981), Department IV of the Security Service (1981-1984), Department VI of the Security Service (1985-1987).) and Department II (1987-1990) at the Municipal Council/WUSW in Siedlce. He started as a police officer without school (he joined the MO as an FSO employee after military service), and after training as a non-commissioned officer at the MO School in Słupsk he took part in foot patrols and later became a driver in the ZOMO sub-unit in Siedlce
— wrote about Orzyłowski Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz, adding that the officer even… received an award from Czesław Kiszczak himself for his “service”.

Election results
In the elections to the Sejm that took place on October 15, Law and Justice won 194 seats, KO – 157, Trzecia Droga (Poland 2050 and PSL) – 65, Nowa Lewica – 26 (in total these three committees won 248 seats), and Konfederacja – 18.
Coalition agreement next Monday?
Last week, President Andrzej Duda held talks with the leaders of the electoral commissions that will have their representatives in the new Sejm. After the meeting, the president said there are two political groups that claim to have a parliamentary majority and have a candidate for prime minister. As he said: the candidate of the United Right is Mateusz Morawiecki, and the candidate of KO, Third Way and the Left is Donald Tusk. He also stated that KO, Third Road and Links have not yet formally formed a coalition, do not have a coalition agreement and cannot nominate candidates for ministers.
As PAP has learned from opposition sources, a coalition agreement between the Civic Coalition, the Third Way and the Left is possible on Monday. A new meeting of the leaders of the Civic Coalition, Left and the Third Way on the formation of a new government will take place in Warsaw on Thursday.
