The justice system cannot be dismantled overnight; it’s impossible. I guarantee that the President will enforce the law in this matter, Grażyna Ignaczak-Bandych, Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, told Gazeta Polska. The president will not accept any illegal actions regarding public media, he added.
We are currently trying to radically change the functioning of the EU. In the European referendum, the Poles agreed to completely different conditions for participation in this association of states
– said Ignaczak-Bandych in the Tuesday-Wednesday edition of “Gazeta Polska”. She emphasized that the president is a strong opponent of the federalization of the EU.
Poland’s raison d’être is to participate in the Union as it is now. However, any change in the rules for our participation in this project, especially such profound changes, must be accepted not only by politicians, but also by the nation.
– she added.
The president will not accept attempts by stronger countries to dominate weaker countries, and he wants to impose such solutions
she assured.
When asked if further consultations were planned with representatives of the parties entering the Sejm on the appointment of a new prime minister, she admitted that no such request from the electoral commissions had been received by the president’s office, so “the president has time for an in-depth analysis.”
And the electoral commissions, as I understand it, are now concentrating on building a parliamentary majority
– she added.
The opposition is preparing to attack the judiciary and the public media
Ignaczak-Bandych also referred to the opposition’s statement, which announced, among other things, changes in the judiciary or public media.
As she noted, “some politicians want the justice system to act under their diktat. Fortunately, the President has his prerogatives and any changes in this area must be implemented in accordance with applicable regulations and with the participation of the Head of State. As she said, “The justice system cannot be dismantled overnight.”
It’s impossible. I guarantee that the President will enforce the law on this matter
– Grażyna Ignaczak-Bandych, Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, tells Gazeta Polska.
She stressed that the president would not accept any illegal action against the public media. She stated that she viewed such announcements as a continuation of the campaign.
First a new government must be formed and only then will it propose concrete solutions
– she pointed.
