The current opposition groups are ready to finalize the coalition agreement before the first session of the new Sejm, the leader of Poland 2050 and Third Way, Szymon Hołownia, emphasized in Białystok. According to him, the contract itself should be open, detailed and available to citizens.
Andrzej Duda announced on Thursday that he had tentatively scheduled the first meeting of the Sejm of the 10th term for Monday, November 13.
In my opinion, teams that are going to quickly negotiate a coalition agreement should start work on Monday (…). It shouldn’t be particularly difficult, because we see each other programmatically in many places
– he said on Friday at a press conference in Białystok, the capital of the region where he won a parliamentary seat.
In my opinion, before the November holidays, we should be ready to go to the President (Andrzej Duda) and say: “you expected this from us (…), please, here is the proposed composition of the government, and here is the coalition agreement.”
– said Hołownia.
The coalition agreement must be public and as detailed as possible. It may not contain dozens of pages full of details, like the German coalition agreement, because we will be stuck in it for years, but it must certainly be a program agreement in which we clearly describe which matters are most important to us. , which things we need to bring up first, so it’s probably a long text anyway. But we want it to be available to citizens so that they know what our main obligations are
– explained the leader of Poland 2050.
Hołownia about the end of the Polish-Polish war
He said of his group and the Third Way that they would be “an anchor, an assurance for safe change.”
If we want the Polish-Polish war in Poland to end, for reconciliation to take place, for us to finally start talking normally about important issues, then we need to heal the parliament, therefore this government must be different, and not an original government. , not this or that, but a partnership.
– Hołownia added.
On this path of healing from reality, we cannot make the mistakes that our opponents have made. If we act like them on the road to restoring democracy, we will end up like them. And I place this memento today on the hearts of all our parliamentarians, when they will have to raise their hands for the laws that will henceforth be made in the Republic of Poland.
– he said.
When asked if he saw himself in the chair of the chairman of the Sejm, he replied: “If I could see myself in any chair, I would go into the furniture business and run a business.”
It’s not about the chairs, it’s about the vision (…). Parliament must be an open place again and not a stronghold of one party
– said Hołownia.
He noted that people “want a team” made up of different groups, between which there should also be a division of responsibilities. He noted that there is no candidate yet for the chairman of the Sejm.
No one will break out of line, “throw Rejtan” or make various other moves, no one’s ambitions will stand in the way. The candidate will be joint
– he assured.
Szymon Hołownia inelegantly referred to the head of state, noting that after a “philosophical conversation” about the majority with Poland’s leader in 2050, he should appoint Donald Tusk as prime minister.
At my next meeting with him [prezydentem – przyp. red.]I hope to have a long conversation about how he views the majority as a minority. In a sense, the minority is the majority. I think this could be the beginning of a long philosophical conversation, and today I can say it clearly and simply. A candidate for Prime Minister has been nominated and he is responsible for conducting the negotiation process efficiently, and the President has made it clear that he is waiting with coffee, tea and an open heart for a conversation when we are ready. We will be ready soon, the President will have everything on the table to nominate Donald Tusk as his candidate for Prime Minister on the 13th, after the resignation of the Council of Ministers of Mateusz Morawiecki.
– he said.
The majority is one, the majority is 248 and so is they. However, if the President suggests that 194 equals 248, then I and Algebra have a different opinion on this matter, or I would even more precisely say arithmetic. Today there is no majority on the side of Law and Justice. The stories about her being have so much in common with the truth that if we were to say today that Mateusz Morawiecki is the first singer at the La Scala Opera. Can you say that? You can. Is it true? NO. So Mateusz Morawiecki is lying today when he says he has the majority. He is lying to the Poles, who made a very clear and readable choice on October 15
– he pointed out.
