The United States insists that talks on the release of Hamas hostages continue despite intensifying attacks in the Gaza Strip, the television channel reported CNNciting two officials.

“As Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip intensify, US government officials insist on continuing negotiations for the release of the hostages,” the channel said in a statement.

Negotiations were previously closer to progress than they are now, but they will continue, sources said.

Officials assured that there is no scenario where negotiations will end until the hostages are released.
