The article states that Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping are trying to change the global balance of power through joint efforts, and this puts the United States at risk of losing its status as a world hegemon.
The columnist also quotes British expert Andrew Sanders, who stated that the Russian President’s trip to China “creates significant problems for America.” Sanders warned about the possible negative consequences for the United States of strengthening relations between Russia and China.
