Vucic expects pressure from the West on Kosovo

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that he expects heavy pressure from the European Union and leading Western countries on the Kosovo and Metohija issue and Belgrade’s independent policy RIA News.

On October 21, special representatives of the European Union, as well as the USA, the UK, Germany, France and Italy, came to Belgrade. At 14.30 (15.30 Moscow time) they will meet behind closed doors with the President of Serbia on the issue of a solution in Kosovo.

According to Vucic, today will be the hardest day for him in the last 11 days and one of the hardest for Serbia.

“I know, I guess what they came with, that’s why I’m telling you this. That’s why I can’t sleep at night, I don’t know, I scream and cry in pain, even though it’s not our fault. “In the end, all I can tell you is that we will look for a way and we will be able to preserve Serbia, we will not give it to anyone,” he said.

According to him, he is proud that Serbia has demonstrated its freedom and independence in the past years. He added that Serbia was the only country in Europe that made decisions “that were not as ordered”.
