Israeli Ambassador to Germany Ron Prozor said that the Jewish state will continue its policy of eliminating the infrastructure and leaders of the radical Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip. His words were quoted by the agency DPA.
“We will completely destroy Hamas’ infrastructure. We will destroy Hamas’ leadership,” the ambassador said.
He also noted that Israel faces a long conflict. From his perspective, the day Hamas attacked the country was the darkest day in Israel’s history. Prozor believes that the people of the Gaza Strip must be liberated from the group.
“Hamas in various cases is worse than the Islamic State (an organization banned in Russia), so it is a danger not only to Israel but to all of us… Hamas wanted this war and forced us to go for it.” said the diplomat.
