We want people guilty of breaking the law to go to prison, or at least pay the price of being eliminated from public life, Krzysztof Bosak, co-chairman of the Confederation, said on Friday in the program ‘Rzecz o Politics’. As he emphasized, punishments must be administered through the courts.
Asked whether they would be in favor of holding PiS politicians accountable and voting for Beata Szydło and Zbigniew Zbiora in the State Court, Bosak replied: “We will certainly be in favor of holding them accountable. During the previous term of office of the Sejm, we submitted a draft resolution on the Commission of Inquiry into the grain scandal. Spending on COVID and the government’s mistake, I mean an error in quotes, about several tens of million doses in ordering vaccines, the issuance of equipment to Ukraine, what actually went there and how, and many other things, such as the leakage of money from government institutions and foundations, also require an explanation.
We want people guilty of breaking the law to go to jail if we can influence it, or at least pay the price of being eliminated from public life.
– he emphasized.
Bosak for the disappearance of PiS from parliament
According to the Confederation, “the nearest PiS leadership is partly responsible for this.”
They should all, like AWS-Freedom Union after their rule, quit parliamentary politics, the same should happen with PiS, it hasn’t happened yet in these elections. I hope it will happen in the future. And Poland will have a normal right wing
– Bosak noted.
He judged that “Poland is a good nation, but they are terribly misled by their politicians, who are cynical.”
Can the State Tribunal help with this? I don’t really believe in it. I think we should rather punish through the courts
– he pointed.
