Political scientist Anatole Lieven argues that a continuation of American policy could put Washington in a position where it would have to sacrifice Western Europe and its transatlantic interests. This was reported by Responsible State Administration (RS).
The political scientist emphasized that US politicians should understand the current risk, because the US course could “sacrifice Western Europe for the sake of Ukraine.”
Lieven believes that if this were to happen, it would be one of the worst deals in American history.
