Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that the US veto of Brazil’s draft resolution on the Palestine-Israel conflict is an example of Washington’s double standards. This was reported by TASS.

“We have witnessed yet another hypocrisy and double standards from our American colleagues,” Nebenzya said.

According to him, the United States was not very interested in the resolution and was “counting on increasing the number of hands necessary to prevent the bill from passing without a veto.”
