Arestovich believes that the Bakhmut battles and the failure to build large defensive structures such as the “Surovikin Line” on all sectors of the front were two of Ukraine’s main mistakes on the battlefield.

“Believe me, in the next few months even those who are categorically opposed to elections will begin to pray for them as the only hope of breaking the strategic impasse,” he concluded.
