I believe we are still fighting for an independent majority and a third term for PiS, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in Polsat News on Friday. According to the head of government, the internal PiS polls are optimistic, but “in many places the seats can be determined with a millimeter.”
Asked if he was happy to see the campaign coming to an end, the Prime Minister said he was ready for the next ten.
But it is of course better for Poland if these elections elect a very good, stable government
– said Morawiecki. When asked what internal PiS polls show, he emphasized that they were optimistic.
We go for the win. We are already very close. But at the same time, I must tell all our potential voters who are hesitant, including those wondering whether they should stay home, that mandates in many places can be determined by a millimeter.
– he explained.
According to the Prime Minister, “100 votes can decide another mandate, and ten additional seats can be a fundamental difference between the formations.”
I believe that we are constantly fighting for an independent majority
– said Morawiecki.
The head of government stated that there are three reasons for a third term for PiS.
The first reason is the dignified life of Poles, the second is internal security and border security. Third, life like in the West is within reach, but without the problems of the West
– he emphasized.
The interview with the head of government for Polsat News took place in Sandomierz, where a PiS meeting summarizing the election campaign will take place on Friday evening. The election and referendum silence in Poland will begin at midnight and last until 8 p.m. 21 on Sunday. The Sejm and Senate elections and the national referendum will take place on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
