Voting for parties other than Law and Justice is voting for the government of Donald Tusk, PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński said on Thursday. Don’t be unreasonable, don’t vote for Tusk, he urged.
On Thursday, the PiS president was a guest on ‘Unfinished Conversations’ on Radio Maryja, where, among other things, he emphasized that voting for parties other than PiS is equivalent to voting for Tusk’s government.
We don’t say we’re perfect, we don’t say we’re saints. (…) But ladies and gentlemen, even if you don’t like us somewhere, at least don’t be unreasonable. Don’t vote for Tusk, because that’s just an accident
– said Kaczynski.
Any opposition party, or even these small parties – with all due respect to what they preach – their activities lead to the fact that they actually support Tusk, and not those who want the Poland that I think these people dreamed of. Poles who were somehow interested in Poland
– he said.
Everyone certainly wanted the Poland that is currently being built and can be built. It does not require a great historical era. A decade of good governance is enough
– added the PiS leader.
The PiS president also pointed out that Poland is currently a country with an increasingly better reputation in the international arena. He emphasized that it should not be lost.
As he said, in the German and Anglo-Saxon press they even say that we are taking over Germany’s role when it comes to industry. We will become the most industrialized country in Europe.”
There is still a long way to go, but we are really moving in this direction and please remember that
– he pointed out.
Kaczyński concluded that Poland today is an independent state, but we must be aware of the threats coming from outside.
Therefore, I ask you to convince others to vote for Law and Justice, because the other side has an advantage in the media
– he appealed.
