Members of the Kyrgyz parliament on October 11 approved An agreement was signed between Moscow and Bishkek on the establishment of a joint air defense system. Relevant information was published on the website of the legislative body of the republic.
In the statement, it was stated that MPs approved the bill in three simultaneous readings. Also speaking at the meeting was the country’s Defense Minister Almazbek Karasartov, who presented the document to lawmakers and announced plans to locate the equipment on a plot of land next to the Russian air base in the city of Kant.
