Chinese Foreign Ministry representative Hua Chunying said that the “One Belt, One Road” forum, to which Chinese officials invited Russian President Vladimir Putin, will be held in Beijing between October 17-18. This was reported by xinhua.
The Ministry emphasized that Chinese President Xi Jinping will also attend the opening ceremony, make a speech, organize a welcome banquet and bilateral events for the forum guests.

In his speech, Putin noted that currently the markets in European countries are gradually weakening. For this reason, Russia is “largely withdrawing” from these countries and looking for alternative opportunities.
