The head of the PO, Donald Tusk, did not answer any question asked during the election debate on TVP: do we want a coward as Prime Minister? – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. He emphasized that the debate was important, but what mattered most were the Poles and the topics discussed.
On Monday, at the ATM studio in Warsaw, an election debate organized by Telewizja Polska took place, with the participation of representatives of six committees registered in all districts. PiS was represented by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, KO – the head of PO Donald Tusk, New Left – MP Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus, the Third Way – leader of Poland 2050 Szymon Hołownia, the Confederation – MP Krzysztof Bosaka, and the non-Party Local Government Workers – Krzysztof Maj.

“Do we want a coward as prime minister?”
Prime Minister Morawiecki referred to it in a post on Facebook after the debate.
We all watched the debate. Donald Tusk did NOT answer any of the questions asked there. Is this the kind of Prime Minister we want? Do we want a coward as Prime Minister?
– wrote Morawiecki.
The head of government also posted a recording from the bus: with PiS supporters. Government spokesman Piotr Müller asked them on the recording about the outcome of the debate. In response, the group’s supporters shouted, “seven – zero.”
“Tusk will lie and manipulate
The Prime Minister emphasized that it was an important debate, but what was really most important was the Poles and the issues raised in it.
I encourage everyone to look at how we went from a salary of 5 or even 7 PLN per hour to soon 23 PLN per hour, and from July to 28 PLN, from hunger pensions and from these indexations – I received two zlotys from Mrs. Danuta from Kraśnik and finally, after this debate, I left Tusk this PLN 2 on the desktop – for the 13th and 14th pension and tax-free pension
– said Morawiecki.
This is the way we can multiply – from Poland, which had no local investment, to Poland, which has a lot of local investment. From an army that was downsized (…) to an army that is getting stronger today, and in a few years we have the chance to have the strongest land army in Europe. From Poland, which bears the sins of others on its conscience, to Poland, which is proud
– mentioned the Prime Minister.
Tusk will lie and manipulate. That was also visible during the debate today, but I think he came out sad
– said Morawiecki. In response, PiS supporters on the bus shouted: “he has lost.”
The Prime Minister also added that the person who usually loses wants the extra time.
Tusk wants ‘overtime’
At the end of the debate, PO leader Donald Tusk invited Morawiecki and PiS President Jarosław Kaczyński to a debate with all media.
“It is still Friday, the day before the election silence. Please come, together with President Kaczyński, you can be together, we can have a debate with all the media, maybe not led by a PiS activist, I am open to all suggestions. I will wait for you on Friday. At any place of your choice”
– said Tusk.
