Before Michał Kołodziejczak was on the lists of the Civic Coalition, he had come quite a long way. The current inseparable companion of PO leader Donald Tusk once supported, among others: Góralskie Veto – a movement led by Sebastian Pitoń. Pitoń’s views were recalled online. Will Michał Kołodziejczak now deny his “old friend”?
Who did Kołodziejczak hang out with?
In his political activities, Michał Kołodziejczak concentrated on controversies, events and fights almost from the very beginning. Claiming that he was defending the farmers and acting in their interests, he scattered grain and fruit on the streets. He attacked PiS politicians because “they had a fight with Russia, our biggest customer”, ran over the European Union flag with a tractor and shouted to show the middle finger to the United States.
Nevertheless, Donald Tusk, who heads the party that has long been positioning itself as the main anti-Putin supporter in Europe and is trying to disavow its policy of “reset” with Russia, saw no obstacles in keeping Kołodziejczak out of her lists to invite. even though the AgroUnia leader was able to sharply attack not only PiS, but also PO and Tusk themselves).
Today on the platform
In January 2021, Kołodziejczak supported the Góralskie Veto Movement, led by Sebastian Pitoń.
Piton and his organization rose to fame during the coronavirus pandemic. Góralskie Veto opposed the restrictions and spread fake news against vaccines. Sebastian Pitoń “became famous” by stating, among other things, that the coronavirus is a “light and pleasant disease”. After the Russian attack on Ukraine, he spoke out against helping Ukrainians fight the invader, but expressed support for Vladimir Putin.
It should be added that Pitoń was once portrayed as a representative of the highlander environment – also by the largest media (among others, during the pandemic he gave an interview to Radio Zet and also appeared in the TVN program ‘ATTENTION’ channel. , in which he explained to the viewers “Why highlanders do not want to be vaccinated “), just like Kołodziejczak – as a representative of the farming community.
At a time when the number of coronavirus infections was still high and vaccines were only just starting to appear, Kołodziejczak came to Zakopane for the Góralski Veta press conference. Near Polana Szymoszkowa, Pitoń encouraged entrepreneurs to reopen their businesses.
Today, as never before, it is clear that we need each other. This seems obvious, but until recently we didn’t want to realize this. Today we’re not just saying we support it, we’re just going to support it and do everything we can to move it all forward. We see the economy collapsing at every possible level. We cannot allow this to happen, we will change it and do our best
– said the leader of AgroUnia then, standing next to Pitoń. As a sign of solidarity with the highlanders, Kołodziejczyk put on Janosik’s hat and took a ciupaga in his hand.
““The Right to Kill”
Piton’s particularly shocking statement was recalled on the Internet (although if we remember the attacks on Ukrainians and the expressions of support for Vladimir Putin after Russia attacked Ukraine, or argue that the coronavirus is an “easy and pleasant disease”, “competition” can be difficult) – about the ‘right to kill’.
I believe that these kinds of things, such as the right to kill, should be a right of the head of the family. The family can transfer this to state institutions, but must have such a right itself
– said the leader of Góralski Veta in an interview with the online television NTV.
I think there might be extremely dramatic situations where, for example, a father would have the right to kill one of his children. I think that if such a law is introduced, it will be applied once every 500 years, maybe once every 200 years. In the First Polish Republic it was probably used once…
– he explained. When the host asked why the father, he replied:
Why father? The head of the family. Traditionally this is the father.
When asked whether, for example, when he talked about killing a child, he was talking about terminating a pregnancy, he replied:
No, about everyone. Including the woman and so on.
In China, under Confucianism, the head of the family had the right to mete out various types of punishment against his family members, including the death penalty. And if we introduce such a law, the state law extends to the family and does not interfere with what happens in the family
– argued Sebastian Pitoń.
““Family is love,” so a father should be able to kill a child?
Then it got even darker.
Family is love. These positive feelings that we are raising children that we love, that we have conceived, that we are raising from a young age. And if there should be positive energy, love and kindness somewhere, it is in the family
– said Pitoń.
You imagine a situation in which you have a child who is suffering terribly and you see no way to help him, and you conclude that perhaps you can alleviate his suffering by killing him.
– he said.
You have a nice candidate on your list, Mr. President @donaldtusk.
– an Internet user nicknamed Emilia Kamińska asked the PO leader, recalling on the X platform that Michał Kołodziejczak, currently on the list of the Civic Coalition, was once photographed with Pitoń.
Donald Tusk is unlikely to answer this question, but since he has included a figure like Michał Kołodziejczak on his list, perhaps over time he will also be interested in Pitoń, because as you can see – for the PO leader you can even the EU flag on the sidewalk, if you are strong enough, anti-PiS and loud.
