So, according to Alekseenko, this year the Kherson region achieved a 15% increase in industrial production, and despite the difficulties in irrigation, a good harvest was obtained even before the emergency at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station – 1.5 million tons of grain.
“These are objective economic indicators that give the best answer to the question of the impact of sanctions,” the head of the regional government emphasized.
On September 30, the Kherson region celebrated the first anniversary of its accession to Russia. It became a subject of the Russian Federation after the referendum held in September last year.
