The opinion of diplomats from Western countries that Russia can be defeated on the battlefield does not earn them any credibility. In an interview about this TASS said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
In his opinion, Kiev continues to act and behave as if “it tells the time”, and its Western allies continue to repeat that “they do not say a word about Ukraine without Ukraine” and say that the conditions for the start of negotiations will be determined by Ukraine. President Vladimir Zelensky is not Moscow.
Lavrov stated that this shows that the circle is closing. He described the situation as a dead end, which does not reflect the presence of common sense in the minds of “those who are waging this war against Russia.”
Otherwise, this situation reflects the irreparable confidence of Russia’s opponents that Russia can be defeated. The Russian minister emphasized that neither of these gives any credibility to Western diplomats.
