The wPolityce.pl portal discovered that a motion to dismiss Przemysław Wiszniewski from the position of lay judge at the Supreme Court had been sent by the Supreme Court to the Senate. On the recommendation of Tomasz Grodzki, the jury member compared President Jarosław Kaczyński with Adolf Hitler during Donald Tusk’s demonstration on June 4. Wiszniewski’s shocking statement was recorded by the wPolsce.pl television crew.

Now the Senate will decide Wiszniewski’s fate. Let’s hope he makes the right choice this time. The law clearly states that a candidate for a lay judge must be of “impeccable character.”
A man who gained his position thanks to the support of a highly politicized judicial ‘caste’ and an opposition-controlled Senate, took part in the Tusk march in Warsaw on June 4. His excesses were captured by editors Maciej Zemła and Mateusz Maksiak of the wPolsce.pl television and the wPolityce.pl portal. The editors have submitted the recording to the Supreme Court.
This year, Wiszniewski became a lay judge of the Supreme Court, elected by the Senate. He came there on the recommendation of the Committee for the Defense of Democracy. He has been actively participating in anti-government protests for years. He also attended the Tusk rally in Poznań and the Equality Parade in Warsaw. During the march on June 4, he presented a banner with a photo of Jarosław Kaczyński with a Nazi moustache.
Hitler rules us!
– Wiszniewski said to a reporter from television wPolsce.pl.
