Sunday’s episode of the program “Strefa Starcia” was dedicated to the film “Green Border” by Agnieszka Holland. At the very beginning of the program, a sharp exchange of views took place between Minister Przemysław Czarnek and the Member of Parliament from Poland 2050, Paweł Zalewski.
The presenter of the program, Miłosz Kłeczek, asked MP Zalewski about the film Holland.
I haven’t watched this movie. You didn’t look at it either
– said MP Zalewski.
Have you read ‘Mein Kampf’?
– asked the head of MEiN.
How do you compare Agnieszka Holland’s film with “Mein Kampf”?
– asked the politician of Poland 2050.
Of course, I absolutely compare. (…) Did you read it? He hasn’t read. Can you tell me if he is good or bad?
– replied Czarnek.
Just because you haven’t seen this lampoon doesn’t mean you don’t know it’s bad. (…) I’m ashamed of you, because you used to be in PiS
– added the minister.
To the suggestion of Miłosz Kłeczek, the moderator of the discussion, that the program began with the presentation of extensive excerpts from the film “The Green Border” and that one could form an opinion on their basis, Zalewski replied that this was not possible. .
It’s an absolute shame that you compare “Mein Kampf” to this film. This is an absolute disgrace!
– said Zalewski, turning to Czarnek.
You are not on the side of Polish soldiers or Polish uniforms. It’s a shame you can’t defend Poland
– replied the minister.
It is a scandal that you, as Minister of Education, set such an example for young people. (…) You behave scandalously
– said Zalewski.
