In a recording on Facebook, the prime minister referred to the fact that during Friday’s speech in Świdnik he was attacked by several men who stormed the stage. The men were removed by the SOP and handed over to the police.
At the beginning of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s speech in Świdnik, several men came onto the stage carrying a banner with the logo of the organization Extinction Rebellion and the slogan: “Warming is your job.” The men were removed from the stage by the State Protection Service and handed over to the police. After this incident and the intervention of the services, the Prime Minister continued his speech.
The Prime Minister said in a recording published on Facebook that “there will definitely be PO provocations, just like we saw the burglary today.”
A man tried to attack me, but the services responded very quickly
– he said.
Certainly, the atmosphere of hatred and hate that Tusk and Trzaskowski are heating has a very strong influence on the nervousness of all these events.
– he said.
We will strive very hard to ensure that AW101 helicopters are also produced here in Świdnik, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in a recording published on Friday. He also referred to the attack on him that took place in Świdnik.
He appeared in the recording together with Deputy Finance Minister Artur Soboń.
The Prime Minister spoke about the production of AW149 helicopters in Świdnik; Soboń noted that this is the first such machine to be delivered to the Polish Army, and there will be 32 in total.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that Świdnik has invested and employed another 500 people, who have the right competencies to be a complete helicopter manufacturer.
Our predecessors wanted to import helicopters from France, while we can develop this industry in Poland and create jobs
– said Soboń. He emphasized that Świdnik also has great engineers who create new structures.
We can realize this potential in Świdnik, Poland
– he said.
We will also strive very hard to ensure that AW101 helicopters are also produced here. This is the next phase
– said the Prime Minister. He said that when Ewa Kopacz became Prime Minister of the PO-PSL government and took over the government after Donald Tusk, the state of public finances was “in complete disarray”.
The Prime Minister also quoted the words he should have heard from the Voivode Lublin, namely that during the four years of the PO government, PLN 300 million could be invested in the Lublin region, and during the four years of PiS – 6.5 billion PLN.
Soboń assured that this number of investments will be higher – up to PLN 115 billion across Poland; the Prime Minister noted that it was “3,000 percent”. more than during the PO government.
The prime minister also said Germany “showed its ugly face” when the chair of the Bundestag Defense Committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, said Poland must bear the consequences if it decides to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine. “Your hands are down, the height of insolence,” he said. He emphasized that it was Poland that had been trying for several months to “shake up Germany” to convince them to supply weapons to Ukraine.
