Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi said at a press conference in New York that Western countries’ arms supply to Kiev is prolonging the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This was reported by TASS.

“Weapons are supplied to Ukraine by the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance. “Those who benefit from the conflict do not want it to end,” Raisi said.

Before this, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki statedthe country began to actively arm itself to ensure its own security, so the supply of weapons to Ukraine was stopped.

Earlier, Republican Senator James Vance said that the United States could not help Ukraine and Taiwan with weapons at the same time. According to him, the state’s defense industrial complex cannot cope with such a load, so Washington needs to make a choice.

The other day, the head of the opposition party Smer Robert Fico and the former Prime Minister of Slovakia said that the country would refuse to supply weapons to Ukraine’s conflict zone if the group gets seats in the new government.

Previously Zelensky saidIt prevents Ukraine from transferring hostilities to the territory of the Russian Federation.
