White House National Security Council (NSC) Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said that US-China relations have improved recently. His words at a briefing for foreign journalists in New York are quoted as follows: TASS.
“The situation is getting better. And the president [США Джо Байден] I believe it is important to maintain a sense of dialogue,” Kirby said.
He also stated that despite the calls of the American administration, Beijing did not agree to re-establish military dialogue with Washington.
Before this Kirby statedUS officials found no signs that China had decided to supply arms to Russia. He emphasized that Washington still considers such actions to be against Beijing’s interests. The United States will continue to monitor the situation.
