Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that a peace agreement will not be signed between Yerevan and Baku at the European Political Community summit to be held in Granada in October. This was reported by RIA News.
“Unfortunately, no,” Pashinyan told reporters when asked if there were plans to sign an agreement in Granada.
He noted that Armenia’s priority is the peace agenda. According to him, Yerevan wants to sign the peace agreement at the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024.
Pashinyan emphasized that intensive negotiations with the Azerbaijani side will continue.
Former Vice President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev stated He said Baku would not tolerate any “gray zone” in Nagorno-Karabakh. Answering a journalist’s question about the current stage of the peace process with Armenia, the politician stated that the solution to the crisis was “delayed” due to the “unconstructive and insincere attitude” of the Armenian leadership.
