Group of Twenty (G20) countries mentioned in the final declarationwill intensify efforts to eliminate child labor in global value chains.
The document states that G20 member states are committed to promoting decent work and ensuring inclusive social protection policies for all.
“To achieve this goal, we will intensify our efforts to eliminate child labor and forced labor from global value chains,” the G20 countries said in a joint statement.
The declaration also states that G20 leaders will support developing countries to move up the value chain.
Also G20 countries accepted obligations eliminating discrimination against women and eliminating gender stereotypes.
Leaders of the G20 countries made different assessments about the conflict in Ukraine in the declaration, called on all countries to comply with the UN Charter and advocated compliance with the terms of the grain agreement regarding the supply of fertilizer from Russia.
