We listen to the expectations and needs of Polish citizens; We do not conduct our policies according to the dictates of Berlin or Moscow, but according to the dictates of our citizens – Rafał Bochenek emphasized. The PiS spokesperson also assessed for which group of voters the PO and Confederation program is intended.
On September 8, the PiS spokesperson spoke at a press conference about a March 2011 note from then-Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, devoted to the Competitiveness Pact being negotiated in the EU at the time. According to Bochenek, during this conversation with Merkel, she would talk about “linking the retirement age of a given country to its demographic situation”.

An external dictation
Bochenek recalled that in 2012 a law was passed that increases the retirement age. He pointed out that Polish society, trade unions and PiS protested against the reform.
This is the difference in the implementation of the policies pursued until 2015 and the policies now pursued by the United Right camp. The days of phone calls from Berlin and Moscow are over. It will not be the case that any politician in Poland will make decisions at the expense of the interests of Polish citizens, based on external interests and pressure.
That said a spokesman for PiS.
According to him, the 2012 pension reform involved consultations with representatives of the German government.
Today, Poland is ruled by a political camp that always cares about the interests of ordinary people, Polish citizens. We listen to their expectations and needs, this is our policy – not on the dictate of Berlin or Moscow, but on the dictate of our citizens
Bochenek emphasized
“A country for the elites
I am not surprised that PO spokesman Jan Grabiec sees common points in the program of PO and Confederation; their politics lead to a state for a small group of elites
– said PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek.
The government spokesman was asked about the words of PO spokesman Jan Grabiec at a press conference in Warsaw.

The PO politician in Polsat News said there are no plans for a coalition with anyone except the democratic opposition, this is the base case. It was important to him that the PiS-Konfederacja agreement should not come about, but he noted that he did not know what would happen to the Confederation after the elections.
Sometimes the Confederates have interesting ideas, for example on tax reform, at least in part, because they are sometimes crazy and disconnected from reality
Grabiec said.
The fact that Mr. Grabiec sees common points in the program of the PO and the Confederation does not really surprise me
PiS spokesperson stressed.
The Confederation directly communicates that the 13th and 14th pensions should be abolished, ZUS and NFZ should be liquidated. She does not like social programs, she wants to liquidate public health care by introducing vouchers for medical services
said Bochenek.
It will be a state that the PO also cares about, ie take care of yourself, we will sell everything, we will liquidate everything that is public and the weakest will be doomed to be eaten.
said Bochenek.
This is where it’s all going: a state for a small group of elites. This is the policy the PO has been following for years, and some of the Confederation’s proposals may indeed lead to such effects. And I understand that these are the common points of the PO and the Confederacy
– added.
When asked about a possible coalition between PiS and the Confederacy after the election, Bochenek said that PiS is not currently in talks with the Confederacy.
