Cannot candidates be persons who have been deprived of their public rights, who have been sentenced by final judgment to imprisonment for an intentional crime prosecuted by a public charge or an intentional tax crime.
In elections to the Sejm, Poland is divided into 41 districts of varying size. The smallest constituency, where seven deputies are elected, is Częstochowa, and the largest is Warsaw – as many as twenty seats are up for grabs here.
Parliamentary elections will be held on 15 October. Poland will elect 460 deputies and 100 senators for four-year terms.
