Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski, who talks about PLN 10 billion that the government has taken from the capital, is not true, said Masovian Voivode Tobiasz Bocheński. On Wednesday, he tweeted that the PLN 10 billion Trzaskowski was talking about had never been in the city’s accounts.
Commenting on the government’s program to support the development of the capital Warsaw for the period 2023-2030, adopted on Tuesday, Trzaskowski said that if money appears, the city can enjoy it.
Enumerations of the Mayor of Warsaw
At the same time, he calculated that Warsaw lost 10 billion zlotys due to the budget changes made by the government.
They took PLN 10 billion from Warsaw and now want to allocate three billion by 2030. They want to return a small part of the money they took with them
– responded the mayor of the capital quoted in the media.
President Trzaskowski’s statement that the government “supposedly” took PLN 10 billion from Warsaw is not true, just as Campus Poland is apolitical
– assessed the governor.
That $10 billion was never on the city’s bills. It’s hard to take something you didn’t have. PLN 10 billion is today in the pockets of young people who only pay PIT at the age of 26, and of pensioners who, thanks to the decision of the PiS government, do not pay PIT at all
he pointed it out.
What do Trzaskowski’s statements mean?
Keep in mind that every time the mayor of Warsaw or any other local government official says that the government has taken something from him, it means that he wants young people and pensioners to pay higher taxes today.
– assessed the governor.
And by the way: how do you describe someone who receives PLN 3 billion for the city, and in return insults the donor?
he asked in the mail. Bocheński added the “thumbs down” symbol and added “sometimes you really need to be able to behave”.
