During the G20 and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) summits, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol said he would call on the international community to “respond strongly” to military threats from North Korea. He said this in an interview Associated press.

“At the upcoming ASEAN and G20 summits, I plan to call on the international community to respond vigorously to North Korea’s ever-increasing missile provocations and nuclear threats and work closely to denuclearize it,” Yoon Suk Yeol said.

The President believes that as UN Security Council sanctions against Pyongyang are imposed, funding for North Korea’s development of weapons of mass destruction has become much more complex.

Formerly North Korea spent Missile launch exercises with simulated tactical nuclear strike in response to joint US-South Korea exercises. This was reported by the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA).

The publication emphasizes that the North Korean side launched two long-range strategic cruise missiles “with warheads simulating nuclear warheads.”

Before that, North Korea’s Korean People’s Army (KPA) spent TNW offensive exercises with simulated destruction of targets on South Korean territory. In this case, the scorched earth tactic was applied.

Previously, according to preliminary data, North Korea, carried out another ballistic missile launch. This was announced by the Japanese Coast Guard.

Previously North Korea accused the United States of instigating the nuclear disaster.
