During the discussion about the hatred of children born in vitro and their parents, KO MP Agnieszka Pomaska said that bad people stigmatize these families. “The Church has her own problems and lets her escape the lives of those who want to function normally” – she stressed.
On Tuesday, MP Agnieszka Pomaska led a debate at Campus Polska entitled “In vitro to HiT. How to wipe the nose of the haters?”. During the conversation, her guests, including Małgorzata Rozenek-Majdan, pointed out that the in vitro procedure initially did not cause controversy in Polish public life and was treated as one of the medical procedures.
Theses of the PO-MP
Pomaska noted that “19 years ago it wasn’t a topic of discussion, no one considered in vitro a controversial method.”
And politics entered it because someone decided to use it for his party goals
noted the MP.
I don’t know what to call the Church’s use of this subject. The Church took advantage of this topic because she decided to make a certain group of politicians dependent on it in a way. Someone who stigmatizes children who are in this world and parents who try to achieve this great happiness, which is a child, are bad people. It’s just bad. Let everyone live their own life. The Church really has her problems and lets her escape the lives of those who want to function normally
Pomaska appealed.
Criticism of the rulers
Rozenek-Majdan added that “politicians of the current administration think that in vitro should become a subject of political struggle.” As she also noted, PiS MPs use in vitro themselves. According to her, people who promote the in vitro method should not close themselves off from conversations with representatives of the Church and people who are against this procedure for religious reasons, because they too can be persuaded to change their mind.
Participants in this panel indicated that the in vitro method was supported by more than 80 percent. society.
And the opposition does not have this support, so this indicates that this procedure is not only followed by our voters
said Pomaska.
