Serbian Prime Minister does not believe in EU membership in 2030

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said she is unsure of the possibility of gaining full membership in the European Union in 2030. This has been reported DEA News.

“You heard Charles Michel say 2030, you heard Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said ‘if this, this and this’. We’ve heard of 2025 in the EU enlargement strategy before, now we’ve already reached 2025, now we’re hearing about 2030,” said Brnabic.

Earlier, the President of the European Council Charles Michel said that the accession of Ukraine and Moldova to the European Union will be discussed at the next summit of the heads of state and government of European countries. He also noted that by 2030 the European Union should be ready for enlargement.

Prior to that, political analyst Alexander Asafov declaration “Lente.ru” said that the European Union’s statements about a possible enlargement could be associated with an attempt to support Ukraine, but its entry into the union would harm the European economy.
