Don’t let PO and PSL make Poles into idiots, Piotr Duda, chairman of NSZZ ‘Solidarity’ National Committee, told PAP when asked how, according to his knowledge, unemployment was shaped when Civic Platform was in power, and what its indicators look like now. “These were people who destroyed the Polish labor market and the Polish worker, because they have it in their DNA” – he noted.
Don’t let PO and PSL make the Poles idiots. No court will shut my mouth and I will say briefly: unemployment under their rule, depending on the year and voivodship or poviat, amounted to several percent – 14, 15, 17, 19 … In the province. Wielkopolskie and Śląskie were the lowest, but otherwise it prevailed throughout Poland, in every voivodship, poviat and municipality.
Duda said.
‘They are destroying the job market’
He added that he knew best because Solidarity fought against the PO and PSL during the previous coalition’s eight-year government, because “these were people who destroyed the Polish labor market and the Polish worker.”
We had to work to death by extending the retirement age and breaking the labor law
– emphasized the head of the KK NSZZ Solidarność.
We remember rubbish contracts, non-payment of social contributions by employers, Polish employees had to work until death, and their pension would have been at a minimum level anyway, with an indexation of PLN 0.30. or a zloty
– Duda pointed out, explaining that the Polish social security system is capital-based, so the more someone earns, the more contributions he or she puts aside in ZUS, the more pension he will have, “and then it was not compatible.”
Therefore, do not let them hide behind representatives of the judiciary who make such and no other statements in connection with the election campaign. Let the PO say: “yes, under our rule unemployment was a few percent and we raised the retirement age.” And I’m convinced that if they came to power, they would do it again, because it’s just in their DNA. Just as it is in their DNA to destroy the labor market where workers are supposed to be slaves.
Piotr Duda pointed out that another “achievement” of the previous government team is the issuance of money from open pension funds.
As Mr Tusk said then, “This is not citizens’ money.” Because if the money belongs to citizens, let that citizen deduct it from their account – that was Tusk’s answer. He used this money to fill the budget hole, the workers’ money, which had been saved in open pension funds for years
Duda recalled.
