Former US President Donald Trump said that he would surrender to the authorities regarding the case brought against him for alleged involvement in terrorism, leaving a prison in the state of Georgia at 7:30 p.m. local time (August 25, 02:23 Moscow time). 2020 US presidential election, TV channel broadcasts CNN.

CNN also reported that Black Vote Trump leader Harrison Floyd, accused of disrupting the Georgia election, surrendered to Fulton County Prison. In addition, Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff during the Trump presidency, surrendered to the authorities. He also reported to the Fulton County Jail. Meadows is charged with two counts: violating the Anti-Blackmail Act and inciting a government official to break his oath.

Previously, a grand jury in Georgia had brought charges against Trump, his lawyers, aides, campaign staff, and local representatives of the Republican Party for election interference.
