Why did Tusk actually put Kołodziejczak on the PO’s list?
Perhaps he hoped to win the votes of the peasants, the votes of the Polish countryside? If so, he had bad data. The support for AgroUnia is marginal, in no configuration has this environment achieved political success. Kołodziejczyk on the PO lists will actually mobilize the village, but vote against Tusk. The decision to hug the AgroUnion leader reminded many why they don’t want the PO to return.

And yet Tusk decided to make this “transfer”. He took on his lists a man who is among the top people who stand up for Russia long in our country. He took a man who accused the Republic of Poland of deteriorating relations with Moscow, which is not only a completely false story, but also inspired by Moscow. It might suit Tusk, but at the same time it’s more likely to hurt him.
So what is the key to this decision?
In my opinion the key is Kołodziejczak’s aggressiveness. Tusk has deliberately listed a political troublemaker, a womanizer capable of anything. He still wants to amplify the power of the hatred he directs against Law and Justice, thinking it will give him power. He wants to attack even harder, even bolder, even more deceitful. And he is looking for people who want to help him with this. And Kołodziejczak is really up to this challenge.
What’s the conclusion?
Yes, such that PiS has no choice in the form of the campaign. Tusk focuses on emotions, on aggression, on a big clash. And you can’t avoid it. Calmly arguing, appealing to the common sense of voters, hard figures that demonstrate the effectiveness of the government, do not work.
It will work, it already works, a clear answer: Tusk is a threat to the performance of Poland and Poland, to everything that has been repaired in Poland in recent years. It entails numerous, specific, tangible dangers. If he comes back to power, our state may simply collapse and every Pole will pay a high price for the return of the policies known from 2007-2015.
It was not PiS that chose the model of this campaign. For a long time he refused to accept the gauntlet. But it was not a fear of clash, but only an unwillingness to fight so hard, far from democratic ideals. But if there is no choice, there is no choice. And Tusk will regret his choice. He will lose this battle.
