TVN24 does not like that Law and Justice used recordings from its antenna on site. A statement appeared on social media objecting to “the unlawful use of editorial materials and the image of TVN journalists for PiS party and election propaganda”.
New PiS spot
Law and Justice published a spot on the internet recalling how the opposition is handling uniforms defending the Polish border against the actions of the Belarusian regime.
In the video, we see stills from the military parade that took place in the streets of Warsaw on Polish Army Day, which were interspersed with the embarrassing words of Władysław Frasyniuk, who said that the defenders of the border are “garbage” and ” a pack of dogs”.
These are poor people looking for their place on earth
– argued Donald Tusk.
In turn, the reporter of “Fakty” TVN Andrzej Zaucha said in the material of the Polish-Belarusian border next to the soldier that he “does not introduce himself, does not say why we cannot pass”.
TVN24 protests
TVN24 didn’t like the PiS spot. The station stated in a statement posted on social media that these actions undermine media credibility and did not agree with the use of journalists’ image for “propaganda”.
We strongly protest against the misappropriation of editorial materials and the image of TVN journalists for PiS party and election propaganda. Such actions undermine the credibility and independence of the media and are simply the appropriation of other people’s property
– according to the statement of the channel TVN24.
What is TVN24 ashamed of?
