Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen apologized in a phone call with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf regarding the actions related to the burning of copies of the Qur’an in front of the embassy buildings of Muslim countries in Copenhagen. It has been reported TASS.

“The head of Danish diplomacy condemns these actions, which go against the traditions of hospitality, openness and tolerance of Danish society,” the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Rasmussen informed the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the Danish government has made recent changes to the law aimed at ending the practice of burning the holy book.
