The referendum, which is due to coincide with parliamentary elections, has become a problem for the anti-government media. “Gazeta Wyborcza” raised the topic of a possible refusal to participate in it.
“GW” recalls the advice of “legal authorities” explaining what to do to refuse to accept a ballot in a referendum.
PiS politicians and pro-government media do not like the fact that legal authorities explain to citizens what to do if we do not want to participate in a referendum in combination with parliamentary elections
– we are reading.
This was explained on TVN24 by Prof. Ewa Łętowska, retired judge of the Constitutional Court and the first ombudsman. – If someone does not want to participate in the referendum, does not want to take the card, he has the right. But – note – he must necessarily write “refused” or “not take” on this list, where the list of voters is signed, or make sure that the committee marks it appropriately – the judge said
reminds GW.
The newspaper also informs about the opinion of the PKW on this matter.
The state election commission says the same thing: if a voter refuses to accept one or more ballots, the district election commission will include it in the electoral roll

“Attack” on Bodnar
According to the Michnik newspaper, there was also an “attack” on Adam Bodnar.
When Prof. Łętowska’s words were mentioned in an interview for Radio ZET by Prof. Adam Bodnar, also a former ombudsman and current candidate for the Senate, was attacked by the pro-government media
– writes “GW”. READ ALSO: President of PiS: Very nervous reactions show that we have hit the mark. Anyone who opposes a referendum has nothing to do with democracy
