Today at 07:00 a recording has appeared on Law and Justice social media in which Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of PiS Jarosław Kaczyński reveals the first referendum question.
The first question will be: Do you support the sale of state-owned enterprises? The Germans want to embed Tusk in Poland to sell the joint property. His background speaks directly about it
– says Jaroslaw Kaczynski.
Further in the spot was recalled an archival statement by economist Bogusław Grabowski from January this year, who, when asked on Radio Zet whether the opposition – if it takes power – will continue the process under way in the case of Orlen and break up the company, replied:
absolutely yes. Fuel and energy companies, ports private? Airports? Yes
said Grabowski.
In response to the economist’s statement, the president of PiS emphasizes:
We cannot agree.
On the other hand, he reminds Poles that it depends on them “whether the property of generations will remain in Polish hands”.

In June, Deputy Prime Minister Kaczyński declared that the issue of relocation of migrants in the EU should be put to a referendum. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki confirmed the intention to hold the referendum together with the parliamentary elections in the autumn.
A two-day session of the Sejm will take place on August 16 and 17; according to the schedule, it will consider a motion to order a nationwide referendum.
“The opinion of the Poles is the most important”
Opposition politicians describe the referendum as “Kaczyński’s chutzpah” (Marcin Kierwiński from PO) or “strange PiS fantasies” (Anna Maria Żukowska from the left).
What about law and justice members of parliament?
For us, the opinion of the Poles is most important
– wrote the head of MAP Jacek Sasin on Twitter.
The Weberists’ plan is simple: the sale of Polish assets with Tusk’s consent. We are attacked by them because we dare to resist
Antoni Macierewicz, Vice President of PiS, argued in turn.
MEP and PiS Chief of Staff Joachim Brudziński stressed on Twitter that “for PiS, Poland and the voice of the Poles have always come first”, and “for the so-called ‘liberal affairs’ that have plagued us since the 1990s. selling off state property, often for the proverbial zloty, the national interest had no meaning whatsoever.
They are only afraid of Berlin and German employers
the politician judged.
Suski: Several hundred different companies were sold during the PO’s reign
First you need to get an answer from the Poles, whether they agree to the sale. If not, I understand that it is also an agreement that some of this lost property should be returned to the state.
– said PiS MP Marek Suski in the program “Political Quarter” on TVP1.
They are in opposition [zwolennicy wyprzedaży polskich spółek]. They sold out, and if they take over, they probably will. Even worse, the effects on the economy of such a move, such a chaotic sale for a token zloty, as in the days of Donald Tusk’s colleague, Lewandowski
said the politician of the ruling party.
After all, these liberal statements that it’s a burden, a ball and a chain, this national economy so you have to get rid of it, and when they were last in power hundreds of different enterprises were sold
Suki remembered.
Rusecka: Polish strategic companies should be state-owned
We ask Poland if it should be sold out. After the 1989 transformation, as well as during PO’s reign, many of our national silverware – large enterprises – were sold
– emphasized in turn in “Signals of the day” in program 1 of Polish Radio, PiS deputy spokeswoman Urszula Rusecka.
Orlen’s position must be strong and Polish strategic companies must be state-owned and not sold
said the politician.
MP Rusecka pointed out that the recent crises have shown “that capital has a nationality”.
Strategic capital must be in the hands of Poland and Poland cannot be deprived of this asset. PO does not care about the interests of Poland and its assets
she stressed.
